Joint security operatives have arrested former Police Special Operations Commander, Nixon Agasirwe, this website has learned.
Agasirwe, the former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura’s blue-eyed boy, has been arrested on charges of terrorism, collaborating with former Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) leader Jamil Mukulu, and in connection with the 2014 murder of former Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Joan Namazzi Kagezi.
This follows a revelation by one of the convicted suspects in Kagezi’s murder, who named the financier behind the assassination simply as “Nixon.”
